The mechanical processing of plastic products manufacturers is the general name of processing plastic products through mechanical methods. Products with high dimensional accuracy and complex structure can be obtained through machining. In addition, machining is also used as an auxiliary process for molding or other molding operations. For example, cutting off the waste edge of the formed product, sawing the extruded profile, and cutting the plastic sheet to the specified size. How do plastic products factories carry out machining?

(1) Plastic cutting is mainly used for plastic plate, pipe, rod and other profiles. Various methods can be used, such as sawing, shearing, milling, grinding wheel cutting, laser cutting, electric heating wire cutting, ultrasonic cutting, high-pressure water flow (water jet) cutting, etc. For cutting rod or tubular plastic materials, a lathe can also be used.

(2) Plastic punching refers to cutting a mold with shape and knife edge into plastic pieces. Punching methods include punching, punching, slotting, cutting, trimming, trimming, etc., among which punching and punching are more common.

(3) Plastic cutting is to use cutting tools to remove excess materials from blanks or workpieces in order to obtain machine parts with required geometry, size and surface quality.

(5) Plastic wire processing can be divided into tapping and turning. Tapping refers to the manufacture of internal threads in holes, while turning refers to the manufacture of external threads on cylinders. Tapping can be carried out on a tapping machine or a drilling machine with tapping accessories, but it can also be carried out manually. Turning thread can be completed by turning or milling, or manually through thread die.

(6) Laser processing of plastics. The essence of using laser to process plastic is that plastic can quickly convert the absorbed light into heat and ablate the plastic itself in a short time. If the laser is focused on a point on the plastic part, the laser will destroy all plastic in the direction of travel within its light residence range. In this way, when the plastic product does not move, the designated irradiation part will be perforated by laser; When the product moves, it can be "cut" into long seams. The conversion from laser to thermal energy is not only very concentrated, but also very fast, so the transfer of the irradiated part of the converted thermal energy f is close to zero.
